Village organisations contribute to a tapestry to represent the varied life of our village

Harvest Supper

A bring and share celebration with homespun entertainment

Sunday 23rd September 9.30 -10.30am St Laurence Church An informal service with singing, Bible readings, prayer and thoughts for the day. Refreshments after the service
  all morning Measham Car Boot Our usual team, joined by some of the visiting Lincoln team will be giving out balloons and talking to 'carbooters'
  7.30 for 8.00pm Halfway House, Donisthorpe

Quiz Night

A great atmosphere and good fun guaranteed as we pit our wits against each other

Indoor Bowls

a regular Monday afternoon activity. Come along to join in or just to watch

Tuesday 25th September 7.00 - 9.00pm St Laurence Church Hall

Cheese and Wine Evening

The regular Men's and Ladies groups get together with a musical quiz. Newcomers welcome

Holy Communion

A spoken service lasting about 45 minutes followed by coffee and chat

Gentle seated exercise for the over 60s. Come and have a go

Woodfield Walkers

Meeting at the Picnic site off Ashby Road this will be a very gentle walk with a refreshment stop half way.

Afternoon Tea and entertainment to raise funds for the Royal British Legion

Armchair Olympics

The oldies take on the younsters at a variety of games, old and new

'Have a Go'

Try out your skills on a variety of familiar and unfamiliar musical instruments

Ready, Steady, Stick

An afternoon for the children (up to 11). Story, Songs and Craft activities

Sunday 30th September 9.30am St Laurence Church

Harvest Festival

A service for all ages with traditional and new harvest songs, prayers and something to think about. Gifts of tinnedf ood will be received and sent to the Marlene Reid Centre in Coalville

  12.15 for 12.30pm St Laurence

Barbecue Time

A celebration in food and friendship. Please bring dessert or cake

Songs of Praise

A service of songs old and new with stories and thanksgiving. Outside if fine
