St Laurence's is still open  daily for those who wish to come in for a time of quiet and reflection, to leave a message in the books of condolence.

Flowers can be left outside on the front of the church grounds round what has become known as 'Kayleigh's tree'. Those flowers which had died have been taken away from the front of church but all cards, toys and other small gifts that are left will be passed on to Kayleigh's family.

A prayer for Kayleigh

God of love, Kayleigh has been taken from us suddenly and violently, and we do not understand. Thank you for her life and for all that she meant to us. Thank you that she is safely with you. Comfort her family and friends. Let justice be done. And may we treasure the memory of her life, more than the manner of her going.
