How you can donate to Saint Laurence's

 

Ways to donate:
  1. You can donate online through this website. To donate click here.
  2. You can pay directly to the church by BACS to Measham PCC, Account No. 88486044, Sort Code 60 01 20
  3. You can send a cheque payable to 'Measham PCC' to: Revd Vivien Elphick, The Vicarage, High Street, Measham, Swadlincote, Derbyshire DE12 7HZ.
  4. In the church you can donate through the QR code in the pews using your Smartphone.
  5. Many people like to give regularly through a Standing Order with their bank.

Why we need donations? 

St Laurence's is an ancient building, recently restored through a Heritage Lottery Fund Grant and dates back to about 1300. It stands at the heart of the village and photos of it are used as the icon for the village. We are an active church: we support children through our association with Measham School and hold children's activities; we run Activeage (seated exercise for the over 60s). We offer worship and welcome for all. The Church Hall is used by community groups, as well as for church activities. We receive no public funding for our day to day running costs but rely solely on regular giving and donations from individuals.
